Organisation Profile

The Swedish School of Social Science (SSKH) is an autonomous unit of the University of Helsinki. SSKH offers Bachelor's degree studies in the fields of Journalism, Social Work and Social Policy, Sociology, Social Psychology and Psychology, Political Science and Law. These fields are the base for the research at SSKH.

The research is further divided in four research themes and and in two interdisciplinary research centres. The research themes are Journalism, Welfare and social service, Development and socialisation and Health and society. The centres are CEREN and FO-RUM.
